Behind the blog
How it all started
Hi! I’m Amber Ginn—board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and mom of two. I started The Latch Link because I’ve seen, firsthand, how hard moms work to find answers. For the past eight years, I’ve run my private practice, IBCLC On Demand, supporting moms through their breastfeeding journeys. And over and over, I’ve met women who’ve spent hours scrolling TikTok, YouTube, and Google, trying to make sense of the chaos of conflicting advice.
They just wanted guidance they could trust.
And honestly, that broke my heart. Moms deserve better.
So I built The Latch Link to be a safe, trusted place for moms to land. Here, you’ll find evidence-based, mom-centered information that’s easy to digest and answers the questions you’ve been searching for.
And when you need a little more? The Latch Link connects you to our network of board-certified lactation consultants for personalized, insurance-covered virtual care.
Because motherhood is overwhelming enough. You don’t need to go through it feeling confused or unsupported. You’re strong, capable, and you’ve got this—and we’re here to help when you need it.
